Terms of Service
Operated by Next World Ventures Inc.
Effective date: August 10, 2026. These Terms include the Privacy Statement beginning at section 15.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern access to and use of Snappio, a mobile-focused web application operated by Next World Ventures Inc., a British Columbia company based in Vancouver, British Columbia ("Next World Ventures," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, selecting a button that indicates acceptance, purchasing a plan, or using Snappio after these Terms are presented to you, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What Snappio does
Snappio helps users follow broad subjects ("Topics"). Automated systems monitor selected public websites, blogs, newsletters, podcasts, video channels and other sources; identify developments; and organize them for users.
A developing or temporary subtopic within a Topic is an "Issue." An "Insight" is a synthesized update drawn from one or more items of third-party source material. The feed can be viewed by Issues or Insights. Issue views group related Insights; Insight views may include a summary, At a Glance facts, key numbers, perspectives, follow-up prompts and source lists.
The Service may offer weekly digests, search, time filters, Topic subscriptions, Issue pinning, Insight bookmarking, reactions, sharing and links to original sources. Features, limits and labels may change as the Service develops.
2. Automated content; accuracy and editorial limits
Snappio uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to retrieve, transcribe, extract, rank, summarize, combine, classify and group information. Unless Snappio expressly says otherwise, Issues, Insights, digests, key numbers, perspectives and deeper explorations are AI-generated or AI-assisted and do not undergo comprehensive human editorial review. Outputs may be incomplete, outdated, misleading, incorrectly attributed or wrong. They are not guaranteed facts or editorial endorsements.
Always review the linked original source before relying on an Insight. Original sources, not Snappio summaries, are authoritative. Snappio is for general informational use and is not professional, legal, medical, financial, investment, safety or other expert advice. Do not use it as the sole basis for important decisions.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 19 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement. The Service is intended and marketed for adults in the United States and Canada, excluding Quebec. It may remain technically accessible elsewhere; technical accessibility does not mean that we direct or market the Service there. Residents of Quebec should not create an account or purchase a paid plan. You are responsible for ensuring that your use is lawful where you are located.
We do not routinely verify age or location. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you satisfy these eligibility requirements. If we learn that an account holder is ineligible, we may suspend the account and delete personal information as required by law. If you use Snappio for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and must notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. We may require email or other authentication and may suspend access to protect the Service or users.
4. Topics, preferences and saved activity
Your plan may limit the number of Topics. You can discover Topics, select subtopics or sources where offered, and change preferences in Settings. Snappio logs usage events and may use your Topics, interests and activity to rank and personalize the feed, operate features, measure performance and improve the Service.
Pins and bookmarks are account-level convenience features. Pinning keeps an Issue prominent in the feed; bookmarking saves an Insight for later. Availability is not permanent: an Issue, Insight, source or feature may change or disappear.
6. Third-party sources, links and rights
Source material is provided by third parties and remains subject to their rights, terms and policies. Snappio identifies publishers and provides source lists and direct links where available. We do not own, control or endorse third-party material and are not responsible for its availability, accuracy, legality, security or practices.
You may use Snappio only for personal or internal informational purposes unless we agree otherwise. These Terms do not grant rights to republish, scrape, train on, sell or commercially exploit source material or Snappio outputs. Follow the original publisher's terms when opening or using a source.
7. Acceptable use
You must not: break the law or infringe rights; bypass access controls, rate limits, paywalls or security measures; probe or disrupt the Service; use automated means to scrape or bulk export content; reverse engineer the Service except where law permits; impersonate others; introduce malware; use Snappio to create deceptive or harmful material; or resell, sublicense or build a competing database from the Service without written permission.
8. Feedback
If you submit feedback, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use it without restriction or compensation. Do not include confidential information you do not want used for product improvement.
9. Continuous development and changes
Snappio is under continuous development. Individual features may be new, experimental, incomplete, unstable or inaccurate, and may be changed or withdrawn. We may add, remove, limit or change Topics, sources, Issues, Insights, quotas and other functionality. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, any polling interval, complete source coverage or preservation of saved items.
We may change plan features or pricing prospectively. We will disclose material changes to paid-plan prices or renewal terms before they take effect and provide any notice or cancellation opportunity required by law.
10. Plans, quotas and payment
Some users may receive promotional Plus access without providing payment information. Where an invitation provides one month of Plus access, the promotion does not automatically convert to a paid subscription and will not result in a charge. At the end of the month, the account automatically moves to the Free plan unless the user has affirmatively purchased a paid plan.
Current plan prices, included features, Topic limits and AI Usage Quotas are shown in Profile > Subscription Plans and Profile > AI Usage Quota. Base prices are stated in U.S. dollars. Stripe may also display a converted amount or offer payment in a user's local currency; the price, billing currency, exchange treatment and total shown at checkout govern the purchase. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and automatically renew each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through Profile > Subscription Plans. To avoid the next charge, complete cancellation before the end of the current monthly billing period. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the paid period. Except where law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for cancellation or unused features, Topics or AI quota. Nothing in these Terms limits cancellation or refund rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you upgrade during a billing period, we may immediately charge a prorated additional amount for the remainder of that period. The higher monthly price applies at the next renewal. A downgrade takes effect at the next renewal unless checkout says otherwise. The purchase screen and confirmation form part of these Terms. Stripe processes payment-card information; we receive limited transaction and billing information rather than complete card details.
11. Intellectual property
Next World Ventures and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, branding, databases and generated presentation, excluding third-party source material. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Snappio at any time and may request account deletion through support. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, security risk, legal requirements, abuse, non-payment, ineligibility or discontinuation. Provisions that by nature should survive termination do so, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits and dispute terms.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness, merchantability, non-infringement or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Next World Ventures and its directors, officers, employees, contractors and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages; loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity; or reliance on automated content. Our total liability arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of CAD $100 and the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability. Some laws do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply.
14. Governing law and general terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in British Columbia will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing or transfer of the Service. These Terms and any incorporated purchase terms are the entire agreement about the Service.
15. Privacy Statement
Privacy at a glance: Snappio uses account information and logged product activity to operate, rank, personalize, secure and improve the Service. Primary hosting is in the United States, and other providers may process data in the United States or other countries.
15.1 Scope and accountability
This Privacy Statement explains how Next World Ventures handles personal information in connection with Snappio. Next World Ventures is responsible for personal information under its control. Its designated privacy role is the Privacy Officer, reachable at support@snappio.com or at the mailing address in section 16.
15.2 Information we collect
We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, profile details, feedback and support communications. We collect Topic, subtopic and source preferences; pins; bookmarks; reactions; searches; filters; shares; feature interactions; AI-quota use; and other usage events. We also collect authentication, device, browser, IP address, timestamps, referral, log and diagnostic information. For paid plans, Stripe collects payment details and provides us with transaction, subscription, billing and limited payment-method information. Public-source content is also processed to create Issues and Insights. Do not send sensitive information through feedback or support unless necessary.
15.3 How we use information
We use personal information to create and secure accounts; provide and rank the feed; personalize content; remember Topics, pins and bookmarks; generate and deliver Issues, Insights and digests; operate sharing and support; administer plans, payments and quotas; analyze usage; improve and troubleshoot the Service; prevent abuse; communicate account and service notices; enforce these Terms; comply with law; and protect users, the public and our rights. We treat logging needed for feature operation, feed ranking, security, troubleshooting and service measurement as part of providing Snappio. Where a use of identifiable activity is not integral to the Service, we will provide any choice required by law.
15.4 AI processing and model training
Snappio sends source content and related service inputs to OpenAI through its API to generate or assist with summaries and other features. We do not currently use, or authorize our providers to use, Snappio users' personal information to train or fine-tune general-purpose models. If we propose a materially different training or fine-tuning use in the future, we will update this Statement and obtain consent where required before applying that new use.
15.6 Service providers and disclosures
Current core providers include Amazon Web Services for hosting, storage, authentication and analytics; Stripe for subscriptions and payments; and OpenAI for API-based AI processing. We may replace providers or use additional providers that perform similar functions. We may also disclose information to professional advisers; authorities or others where required by law or needed to protect rights and safety; and parties involved in a financing, reorganization, acquisition or sale. Providers may use information only to provide contracted services or as otherwise permitted by law and their agreements with us.
15.7 International processing
Snappio's primary AWS hosting is in the United States. AWS, Stripe, OpenAI and their subprocessors may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. We do not control the precise server used for each OpenAI API response. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to foreign laws and lawful access by foreign authorities.
15.8 Retention
We retain raw usage events in identifiable form for up to 12 months. We retain account, subscription, saved-item and support information while needed to provide the Service and for reasonable legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention and dispute purposes. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information longer. Backup copies and records that must be retained by law may remain for a limited period after an account is deleted. A more detailed retention and backup-deletion schedule is maintained internally and may be updated as the Service evolves.
15.9 Access, correction and deletion
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, a copy of your data, withdrawal of consent where processing depends on consent, or account and data deletion by emailing support@snappio.com. Email requests are Snappio's deletion and data-management mechanism. We may verify identity and may retain information where law permits or requires. Deleting an account removes access and account-linked saved activity, subject to retention limits. Public shared Insight pages are content-level pages rather than user-owned pages and may remain available until the underlying Insight expires.
15.10 Security and incidents
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and risks. No system is perfectly secure. We maintain an internal process to assess and respond to security incidents and will notify affected individuals and regulators when required by law.
15.11 Privacy rights and complaints
Privacy rights vary by location and are subject to exceptions. Direct access, correction, deletion and privacy complaints to the Privacy Officer at support@snappio.com. You may also complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or another competent regulator.
15.12 Communications
We initially send service, account, security and subscription messages. If we introduce promotional email, we will request consent where required, identify the sender and provide a working unsubscribe method. Withdrawing from promotional messages will not stop necessary service messages.
15.13 Children
Snappio is intended only for people aged 19 or older. We do not knowingly seek personal information from anyone under 19. If we learn that an ineligible minor has created an account, we may close it and delete the information as required by law.
15.14 Changes
We may update this Privacy Statement. We will post the revised version and effective date and provide additional notice where required by law. A materially new use of previously collected personal information will be handled as required by applicable consent rules.
16. Notices, complaints and contact
Questions, support requests, privacy requests, source corrections, copyright notices and other complaints should be sent to the contact below. We may ask for the affected URL, source, explanation, contact details and proof of authority.
